Sista Nobantu has started a new and important web-based radio-vision broadcasting project called "Nobantu Talks." I had the honor and privelege of being one of her first interviews that you can listen to below.

Medase, Asante sana and thank you to all who were fortunate to be a part of my first launching of Nobantu Talks Wednesday, February 28th. It was exciting to have friends come together from East Palo Alto, California, Chicago, Illinois, Brooklyn, New York, Decatur, Georgia and Utah.

I want to especially thank Brother Sam Anderson for the splendid and informative analysis he gave of the crisis in the New York Schools during his interview. We also saw a clip of the Black Panthers organizing in the 60's as an incentive for reflecting on how we organized then and what we need to do today to organize and educate our people.

If you are interested in obtaining audio of the entire show, it is available for $9.99. The funds will support AYA Education Institute and Shule Mandela Academy.

Our next show will focus on the debate around the Philadelphia high school district becoming was the first in the country to mandate that all of their students take African and African American history.

Sleepless Until the Battle is Won,

Mama Nobantu
